Symbol in A Lost Temple
I had no love fest with this background photo I took with my Sony a6000. It was a BLAH! But then, as usual, I had an idea for a graphic - a vague reference point from which to begin with Microsoft Draw. The primary color bands revved up my engine while the 'just so' white bands came at a cost of difficulty + frustration times 10. I knew full well that if I dared to draw those curved bands on a separate piece of paper; if this proved to be MARVELOUS, then God and all the help of Heaven wouldn't allow me to copy it free hand on the photo. I recall trying different combinations of curves many, many times - I'm sure I did at least 40 versions, erasing and going at it again. Finally, this arrangement looked fabulous. Why? Well, the bands worked beautifully alone & separate BUT, beyond this, their dance of light augmented the overall design giving it the feel of an ancient symbol full of mystery.
